We have recently confirmed that a person using the name “安倍秋成” is conducting activities under the name “土御門神道” and has separately established a shrine also called “天社宮,” the same name as our shrine.

To prevent misunderstanding among our worshippers and supporters, we hereby provide the following notice.

1. This person and the shrines, facilities and organizations operated by this person have no connection whatsoever with Tensha Shrine, the Tensha Tsuchimikado Shinto Headquarters, or the Tsuchimikado family.

2. The Headquarters has never authorized this person to use the names “土御門神道,” “天社宮,” or any other names similar to them.

3. Any licenses, permits, certificates or similar documents held or presented by this person were not issued by the Headquarters and do not certify any qualification as a Shinto priest, an Onmyodo practitioner (陰陽士), or any other position recognized by the Headquarters. Even if any document may have been issued in the past under some circumstances, our records show that no such document is currently valid, and the Headquarters does not recognize it as valid proof of qualification.

4. Tensha Shrine and the Headquarters accept no responsibility whatsoever for this person’s activities, including prayers, sacred items, the conferral of qualifications or any other acts.
